Public Meeting for Cove + East Side Neighborhood Plan- 4/15

The Land Use Bureau and Transportation Department will be holding the final public meeting for the Cove + East Side Neighborhood Plan.

WHERE: Chelsea Piers - The Loft

TIME: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

The City and our consultant team will present current findings and draft recommendations, and will be gathering final public comments to help inform any last refinements to the plan.

The plan is guided by three primary goals:

1. Improve transportation safety, including adding sidewalks and enhancing traffic flow along Cove Road

2. Preserve neighborhood character while supporting small-scale, mixed-use village centers along Cove Road

3. Enhance neighborhood livability through cycle-friendly side streets, beautification, and expanded tree planting to create a more connected and green network
