2035 Master Plan Proposal: What You Need to Know

ree

To all CNA Members and residents of the Cove,

The City plans and divides in stealth, yet many Stamford residents are not aware of the 2035 Master Plan proposal to allow for multi-family homes in select areas of Stamford where only single family homes exist. The Master Plan does not change the current zoning laws per se, however, were the Master Plan approved, future rulings by Zoning could very well allow for multi-family building replacing single family homes. This possibility would negatively affect property values, neighborhoods, traffic, infrastructure–our lifestyles and overall living conditions.

Fighting City Hall As a CNA member you are invited to participate (along with other neighborhood associations in Stamford) to attend in person the City Planning and public hearings scheduled for August 20, September 2 & 16 all at 6:30, 4th floor, Government Center. Please note, we recently learned there is a public Planning Meeting 8/12 at 6:30. Additionally, shortly, we will be providing all CNA members a template letter for members to email directly to Stamford Government officials.

Spread the word to your fellow Stamford neighbors. United and participating, we can better ensure the will of Stamford residents is acted upon.

Sincerely,

The CNA Board

Cove Neighborhood Association, Inc.
