Keeping up to speed about the 2035 Plan

ree

Here's some info that will help you get up to speed on the 2035 plan

What do you need to know? We are here to help you navigate through this.

  1. Have you signed the petition against this 2035 Comprehensive Plan? If not, please go here to download a petition to print out and sign it! Need to get it to us by 9/12. If you have signed petitions and don't know what to do with them, email us at: cnastamford@gmail.com and we will give you instructions!

  1. Sign the online petition HERE. We think the amount of signatures of this online petition will be impactful, so please, sign it if you haven't yet or not signed a physical petition.

  1. All petitions need to be turned into the Town Clerk, Lyda Ruijter, who is very committed to serving the residents of Stamford and is running for election in November. You can read her letter to the residents of Stamford HERE.

  1. The Cove Neighborhood Association is accepting donations to help the citizens of the Stamford neighborhood associations pay for legal costs to request a temporary injunction against the City of Stamford 2035 Comprehensive Plan.  "We, the residents of Stamford, oppose the draft Comprehensive Plan's expanded land use guidance that would permit a range of multi-family residences in zones currently zoned for single-family properties within the City of Stamford."

On our homepage there is section where you can donate. Every little bit helps!

  1. Be on the lookout for yard signs coming this Friday! If you would like a sign for your yard, contact us at cnastamford@gmail.com and we will provide one for you!
